Summary of events in autumn 2022
Digita has been actively involved in events around Finland this autumn. Below is a look at the events where Digita’s sales teams have attended to showcase different solutions and services. Get to know our sales teams and the autumn event calendar!
District Energy Days in Oulu, 24–25 August 2022
The District Energy Days in Oulu featured presentations of IoT network solutions for the district heating sector. Showcasing IoT solutions at our stand were Mika Flinck, Mona Miettinen and Katja Arvola, a long-term infrastructure expert working on projects for Digita. “The district energy industry has discovered Digita’s LoRaWAN IoT network, as water supply utilities have done a few years ago. A high-quality network enables measurements and controls for customers,” says Digita’s District Energy team.
Logistics Trade Fair in Tampere, 14–15 September
The Logistics Trade Fair was held in September at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre and featured intralogistics as well as logistics and warehousing services. One of the products presented was Digita’s 5G private network, which will revolutionise wireless data transfer in logistics. Reliable wireless data transfer is one of the pillars of modern logistics and an integral part of smart logistics and supply chains. The Digita private network is a mobile network designed for internal use by companies that utilises 4G/5G technology familiar from public cellular networks.
Digita’s partner Optiscan Group also took part in the trade fair to showcase equipment and Abakus system solutions, which help streamline logistical functions in warehouse work control and production.
Electricity, Telecom, Light and Audiovisual Trade Fair in Jyväskylä, 7–9 July
The electricity trade fair offered visitors a unique overview of industry trends as well as new technologies and operators. Digita’s stand showcased a diverse range of IoT sensors, solutions and demos. At the stand, our presenters also provided information about Digita’s private network solutions and how unproductive space on rooftops can be used for the development mobile networks, for example.
Isännöintipäivät professional property managers’ event in Jyväskylä, 21–22 September 2022
The Finnish Isännöintipäivät for property managers was held at the Paviljonki in Jyväskylä in September. Isännöintipäivät is the number one event of the year in the real estate industry, bringing together forerunners, professionals and leading service providers from all over Finland.
Esko Nerelli and Jani Pyykkö from Digita’s Site Services team were at Digita’s stand to talk about how unproductive rooftop space can be used to improve mobile networks.
Kuntamarkkinat local government event in Helsinki, 14–15 September
The Kuntamarkkinat event brought together organisations and service providers from all over Finland at the Kuntatalo in Helsinki. Visitors and local government officials were interested in our IoT solutions for remote water meter reading and energy efficiency of properties. At our stand, we showcased solutions for location services, energy conservation, water supply and indoor air quality measurement, among other themes. In their presentations, Digita’s Sales Director Mika Flinck and Frees’ Account Manager Timo Karonen discussed modern solutions in indoor air management.
FinnBuild trade fair in Helsinki, 4–6 October
Digita took part in the international construction and building services trade fair FinnBuild at the Messukeskus Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. Digita exhibition stand featured IoT solutions based on LoRaWAN network technology, which can be utilised for quality assurance and improving reliability at construction sites. Our partners MATOlog and Small Data Garden were also at our stand to present Finnish-designed devices and IoT-based solutions for construction sites.
