Warm thanks for the past year and for your feedback on our customer survey. We greatly appreciate the feedback, as it helps us improve our operations as a company.
According to the survey, our strengths continue to be good attitude, reliable operations, keeping promises, boldly addressing issues, and genuine collaboration. Our approach is professional and trustworthy. On the development side, we still need to emphasize customer-centricity over solutions and adopt a more dynamic approach. Our solutions are perceived as high-quality and timely, but we could communicate better about the development steps of our services.
Here is a brief summary of the key events in our business over the past year.
Our telecom business has continued to grow according to our plans. In the IoT business, we invested in a new network platform this year to offer our customers future connections even more flexibly. In the Data Center business, we have gained new customers and significantly increased the utilization rate of our data centers. The location of our data centers with the best possible connections is increasingly attracting international customers. In the mast business, we have continued good cooperation with Finnish mobile operators by building new masts in response to traffic demand.
The growth of the private network market business has still been slow, but the number of potential projects is increasing. In the summer of 2024, we conducted a study on the digitalization of the industry, in which we examined the awareness of private networks. According to the study, there is a clear need in the industry for a secure digitalization platform. Awareness of 5G private network technology is still quite low, although the benefits for performance-critical applications are undeniable. We are happy to explain the benefits in more detail.
In our broadcast business, as part of the HD transition, we made a channel numbering change in our antenna TV network together with the industry. The channel numbering change was a major effort for us as a company, for which we had been preparing for a long time both in our service center NOC and in our regional organization. Now we have set our sights on phase two of the HD transition, which will take place in 2025. It is great that in Finland, the HD transition is being carried out in good cooperation with the TV industry, Traficom, and network operators. This ensures consistent messages and makes the change clearer for consumers.
Naturally, we will continue our key task of ensuring security of supply in our critical networks next year as well.
