Press release 28.10.2014

The Digita Group will commence cooperation negotiations regarding its
personnel on Monday 3 November in relation to the restructuring of the
organisation and increasing efficiency of production and operations. The
negotiations concern a total of 152 employees. According to a preliminary
estimate, the negotiations may lead to a maximum reduction of 46 person-years.

The goal is to complete the negotiations, held according to the cooperation
procedure, by 15 December 2014 at the latest. Details and actions to be taken
will be specified during the cooperation negotiations. The company aims to make
a decision on the actions on the basis of the negotiations as soon as possible
after the negotiations have been concluded.

Background to the negotiations

The cooperation negotiations are
necessary due to company’s need to respond to the changing market situation by
increasing efficiency and by reorganising its operations. Digita’s acting CEO Jussi
Lehtonen
: “In a changing operating environment, we want to respond to our
customers’ needs even better than before. This requires that we streamline our
service offering and adapt as well as increase the efficiency of our
operations. These actions will ensure our competitiveness also in the future.”
The planned actions will not affect the quality of Digita’s services.

“For the personnel, the
cooperation negotiations are always a very unfortunate matter. We aim to use
all possible ways to minimise the effect on our personnel,” says Lehtonen.
