In December, Digita completed its Information Security Management System Certification project. The certification now includes Digita’s Lahti Data Center, main office and Service Operations Center facilities. With this certification, we ensure that information security at Digita is implemented in accordance with best practices and that we manage our operations with customers and stakeholders according to the same principles. Information security is a matter that concerns all Digita personnel and encompasses everything from top management to the company’s everyday operations. Kiwa Inspecta acted as auditor.

Information security certification, in particular, is important for ensuring the continuity of our international data center customers’ operations. Digita’s most important strengths are reliability and security in everything we do, and this information security standard further strengthens our information security reliability,” says CEO Vesa Tykkyläinen.

In addition to Kirsi Partanen and Melinda Lindqvist-Hyttinen from the Quality Control Team, a large group of Digita personnel who have brought valuable data and expertise to the certification process have taken part in it and the associated external audits. Staff training is also extremely important and was launched in 2021.
