DIGITA’S NEW CORPORATE IDENTITY SUPPORTS THE COMPANY’S NEW PHASE

Under new ownership, Digita will now develop its business as an independent company. As the owner of Finland’s most extensive broadcasting network, Digita seeks growth by investing even more in its network and services for television and radio companies, and mobile and broadband operators. This fresh new corporate identity expresses Digita’s new phase of development.

First State Investments acquired Digita in October and according to Digita’s CEO Sirpa Ojala, this started a new period in Digita’s business operations. ”This will be represented in our corporate identity starting from today. First State is a long-term infrastructure investor and Digita is now able to develop its business as it considers best and also grow sustainably.” As the new phase starts, Mr. Arne Wessberg, has been nominated as Chairman of the Board.

According to Ojala, Digita has a solid foundation for growth at the transitional stage of the television and media industry. ”Our first-class sound, picture and data transmission network provides our solid foundation in technical terms. Digita’s network is the only radio network reaching everyone in Finland, while playing an important role in serving the whole country equally and securely. We deliver our clients’ best content throughout Finland. The digital future is full of possibilities, opening up new scenarios to us as a leading and reliable implementer of those possibilities.”
