National pay-tv broadcasts will end on Digita’s antenna tv network on May 31, 2025

Published: 7.4.2025
Digita, which has offered national antenna network pay-tv services, will focus on providing services aimed at businesses and will discontinue its consumer-oriented pay-tv business under the Antero brand. Pay-tv channels will be closed on the antenna TV network on May 31, 2025.
The closure of pay-tv channels will not affect the services of freely viewable tv channels on the antenna tv network, but rather, the ongoing HD transition will significantly expand the high-definition offerings of the antenna tv network. Digita will continue to serve viewers of the antenna tv network nationwide.
“With a heavy heart, we are bidding farewell to Antero, which has become a beloved and well-known brand over the years. Due to continuously rising content costs, the distribution of pay-tv channels on the antenna TV network was unfortunately no longer economically feasible. However, Digita’s current pay-tv customers can switch to Telia,” says Digita’s Director of Marketing and Business, Ella Kirjasniemi.
“We offer antenna tv customers an attractive option to continue enjoying interesting domestic and international content. We ensure that the transition of customers to our services happens smoothly and that the content is visible without interruption,” says Telia’s Director of Broadband and TV Business, Kalle Muhonen.
More information about the change and its effects can be found on the anterotv.fi website or by contacting our customer service. A notice regarding the matter has also been sent to all Antero pay-tv customers.
