Erillisverkot has made an agreement with Digita on the maintenance of the Virve public safety network. The agreement will ensure the effective maintenance of the Virve radio network, which serves the authorities and other parties of critical importance to the security of supply.

The agreement covers maintenance services for Virve base stations, repeaters and the related antenna systems. Digita and Erillisverkot had already concluded an agreement on network construction services and backup power arrangements.

The agreement will take effect at the start of June 2022 and run from 2022 to 2025, with optional years thereafter. The five-year agreement is worth over EUR 100,000 annually. The agreement also provides the flexibility to accommodate potential changes in the scope of the radio network.

At the same time, we are building a new broadband service alongside the existing network,” states Jarmo Vinkvist, COO of Erillisverkot.
