Digita will offer HD-level pay-TV services in its terrestrial television network from the beginning of 2020. The availability of pay-TV services on Digita’s terrestrial television network will expand from the current population coverage of 85 per cent to 90 per cent. Going forward, in addition to the current TV stations, pay-TV services will also be broadcast from the TV stations in Fiskars, Haapavesi, Kerimäki, Koli, Mikkeli, Pernaja, Vaasa and Vuokatti. No separate antenna will be required to receive HD channels in the future.

Digita offers 31 pay-TV channels on its television network, including 12
in HD. Visit at www.digita.fi/tvkanavat to see the pay-TV channels and channel
locations that will enter into force on 1 January 2020.

Existing pay-TV customers in the terrestrial television network will
receive their channel packages normally after the turn of the year without any
additional measures. New pay-TV customers should ensure that the TV receiver
includes an AntennaReady HD approved television with a DVB-T2 tuner and a CI+
card reader.

TV viewers do not need to make additional purchases or changes to their
antennas to receive pay-TV services. However, in new coverage areas, adding a
new frequency on properties with a master antenna often requires alterations in
the master antenna system of the housing company. In this regard, it is
advisable to primarily contact the property manager or a skilled antenna
specialist.

Alteration work to be
carried out on 31 December 2019

The launch of new pay-TV channels in Digita’s network will require
technical alterations, which will be carried out on Tuesday, 31 December 2019
starting at 9.30 a.m. This will result in TV viewers experiencing an
interruption lasting a few minutes in their current pay-TV broadcasts at 9.50
a.m. and possibly short interruptions between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. After that,
a channel search is required to view the channels. Most receivers automatically
search for new channels, but some televisions or set-top boxes may require you
to re-tune the channels or restore the factory settings. Instructions on
performing channel searches can be found on Digita’s website at
www.digita.fi/kanavahaku or in the device’s user manual.

As usual, pay-TV services on Digita’s terrestrial television network are
sold through DNA’s sales network.
