Personal data processed | Digita processes the data of customer companies and the decision-makers and contact persons of potential customer companies, as well as the personal data of business contacts received through marketing campaigns. The processed data includes the data subject’s first and last name, role, employer information, phone number, email, customer history (e.g. purchases and meetings), and information regarding the data subject’s marketing permissions and denials of permission. Additionally, information about the person’s participation activities in various events, studies, meetings, etc. organised by Digita may be collected. With the data subject’s consent, data may also be collected via websites. For example, data concerning Digita websites they visit and their activities there, such as downloading documents, viewing pages and filling in forms. |
Purpose and basis for processing personal data | The basis for processing personal data is the customer relationship or possible customer relationship with Digita, the use of Digita’s services, other cooperation with Digita or the consent of the data subject. If the basis for processing is the consent of the data subject, the data subject may withdraw their consent by contacting the contact person specified in this privacy policy. Data in the filing system is processed for the following purposes: 1) Marketing and sale of Digita’s products and services 2) Creation and maintenance of a new customer relationship 3) Targeting, delivering and monitoring of marketing communications 4) Opinion, market and other surveys 5) Production and development of products and services 6) Organising customer events 7) Notifying users of disruptions to Digita’s services and other communication with users. |
Regular data sources | Personal data is generally collected through direct communication with the data subject (phone call, online, email, face-to-face or another form of communication). Participant data is collected in connection with events, seminars and training. Data may also be collected via communication in connection with the provision of maintenance or service. Data is also collected from public data sources, such as organisations’ websites and databases belonging to parties that offer contact information services. With the consent of the data subject, their personal data may also be collected via websites. |
Disclosure of personal data | Digita may disclose personal data to its partners and/or subcontractors within the permitted and required limits of current legislation. Data is not generally transferred outside the EU/EEA. |
Data storage period | Data stored in the filing system is only stored for the period and to the extent necessary for the original purposes the personal data was collected for or purposes consistent with them. Data is principally stored for the duration of the customer relationship or for no more than two (2) years. |
Automated decision-making | Data subjects may be subject to profiling concerning their attitude towards Digita and their influence within their own organisation. Customer history data (incl. meetings, communication and agreements) is collected from data subjects who have a customer relationship with Digita. |
