Dear customers and partners,
Soon it will be time to celebrate Christmas and leave the current year behind. However, we should take a moment to look at what this year brought with it. At the forefront of my mind is satisfaction with the successes and new things we have achieved together.
To strengthen our telecom growth strategy, we have supplemented our nationwide mast portfolio with the acquisition of approximately one hundred new masts. The new telecommunications masts allow us to offer you increasingly comprehensive digital infrastructure services as the largest independent owner of telecommunications masts in Finland. We also made a significant investment in a new data centre with the best connections.
Many of our new telecom growth projects have progressed rapidly, such as rooftop management services aimed at developing digital infrastructure. We have entered into partnerships with many actors in the real estate industry. In terms of private network services, we have realised our first projects, which are unique even on an international scale.
We are also taking television towards the future. This year, we branded the foundation our business as Terrestrial TV, the three competitive factors of which are free channels, pay-TV and Hybrid TV. Combining linear television and the Internet, Hybrid TV is part of the evolution of television and offers entirely new opportunities for consumers as well as unprecedented business benefits for service providers.
Our mission is to provide you, our dear customers and partners, with value every day of the year, while respecting the world and climate around us. We also want to look to the future a hundred years from now, and nurturing the well-being of our shared environment is a priority in that regard. That is why we have updated our sustainability strategy this year and aim to have a carbon footprint of zero by 2030.
